About the Event
Join us for the inaugural N'Kenge Foundation Benefit Gala in support of "Dorothy Dandridge! The Musical." Happening on November 22, 2024, at The Cutting Room in New York City, this glamorous evening will celebrate the legacy of Dorothy Dandridge and other POC legends with an Old Hollywood Glamour theme. We are honoring Tony Award Winner and Trailblazer of Broadway: Producer, Performer, and Advocate for Women in Theatre, LaChanze, along with actress, author, and philanthropist Holly Robinson Peete! The night will feature a star-studded cast and an exclusive auction with a one-of-a-kind piece by acclaimed artist Ashley Longshore. This is a night you won’t want to miss!
With Special Performances by American Idol's Nya, ELEW, Sam Behr, Aisha de Haas, N'Kenge, Y. Dolly Fox, Kimberly Lara, Dawn Derow, Jahzara Martina, Mr. Taptastic, & more! The night continues with a Hollywood-style afterparty led by DJ Dina Regine!

Named-Internship Program: You will have the unique opportunity to establish an internship in your name with the N'Kenge Foundation. This internship will provide a hands-on learning experience for an aspiring individual passionate about the arts, media, or philanthropy. The intern will work closely with the N'Kenge Foundation and its esteemed partners, including Healing TREE and Blacks on Wall Street, gaining invaluable insight into nonprofit operations, event planning, and community outreach. This sponsorship allows you to leave a lasting impact by nurturing the next generation of leaders in the arts and advocacy sectors. The intern will receive direct mentorship from the foundation and its partners, assisting with special projects, campaigns, and initiatives aimed at uplifting the stories and legacies of People of Color across various forms of media.
